    While it may not be bamboo (I'm not actually too certain) its still a very cool way to use small diameter pieces of wood in construction.

    Brings up the idea of using it as sheathing, as well as finding structural uses for it.

  3. Hey Rylan!
    Thats a interesting research proposal. I was reading a little bit about bamboo as a building material and it says there are 500 species of bamboo. Maybe you could narrow it down to a few species that are suitable for building, and research there structural properties, availability and practicality. The practically would obviously depend on geographical location but its still an interesting idea. I found this link on Bamboo, it basically research the feasability of bamboo as a builing material.
